Southend Moonlight Colourthon

 

On Saturday the 3rd of July 2010, the Moonlight Colourthon took place in Southend. It's a sponsored 13 mile walk around Southend, and it's a great opportunity to keep fit, and to raise some money for charity.

 

Walkers are encouraged to take part to raise money for the charity of their choice, and we encouraged anyone planning to do the moonlight walk, to consider making Southend Hospital Radio your charity of choice.

The walk, a half-marathon, started at 8pm from Chalkwell Park. The route included the seafront, cliff tops, Old Leigh and Leigh.

 

The Moonlight Colourthon is open to all over 16. The entrance fee is £15
